Job summary

Concept Rehab in Cedarburg, WI is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team on a PRN as-needed basis. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference with patients.

In this position you’ll provide OT treatments under the supervision of a licensed OTA/OT, help patients improve strength, mobility, cognition and daily living skills, document progress, and collaborate with families, nursing staff and other care providers.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Wisconsin OTA license/certification or ability to obtain.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Help patients improve strength, mobility, cognition, functional skills, and independence with daily activities.
• Follow individualized plans of care and monitor patient progress.
• Communicate with patients, families, nursing staff, physicians, and other members of the care team.
• Participate in care plan and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Provide education and training to patients, families, and facility staff.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Help patients achieve greater independence and quality of life.
