Evolve Therapy Services, LLC in Tampa, FL is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility. This part-time or PRN role focuses on delivering OT services in accordance with federal and state standards to maintain high-quality resident care.

You will conduct screenings, implement treatment plans, document outcomes, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. Active OTA licensure and an Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy are required.

• Must have active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice.
• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct regular screenings of residents to determine best intervention per scope of practice.
• Execute treatment plans and follow short- and long-term goals per plan of care.
• Communicate evaluation findings and recommendations to residents, families, and team members.
• Establish resident therapy schedules in coordination with the team.
• Document and bill occupational therapy services per CMS standards.

Job Position:

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Type:

Part-Time or PRN

Job Purpose:

To plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by Administrator, to ensure that highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Job Functions:

• Conduct regular screening of residents to figure out the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient based off scope of practice
• Perform treatment plan to residents; follow short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve goals based off of the established plan of care by supervising therapist
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients
• Comply with all CMS documentation standards of practice daily with point of care documentations as indicated

Education & Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy
• MUST have active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
