Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services, LLC in Central City, Nebraska is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility. The role focuses on planning, directing, and delivering occupational therapy services to residents in accordance with federal and state standards.

You will conduct resident screenings, implement treatment plans under supervision, document sessions for billing and CMS compliance, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice required.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services per standards.
• Screen residents to determine interventions and treatment goals.
• Implement treatment plans and document progress under supervision.
• Communicate evaluation findings and plans to residents, families, and team.
• Establish resident therapy schedules with team members.
• Document and bill occupational therapy services per CMS standards.
• Perform additional duties to effectively treat patients.

Job Position

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Type

Full Time, Part Time, or PRN

Job Purpose

To plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by Administrator, to ensure that highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Job Functions

• Conduct regular screening of residents to figure out the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient based off scope of practice
• Perform treatment plan to residents; follow short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve goals based off of the established plan of care by supervising therapist
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients
• Comply with all CMS documentation standards of practice daily with point of care documentations as indicated

Education & Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy
• MUST have active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
