Job Details
  • Position: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility
  • Type: Full Time, Part Time, or PRN positions available
  • Location: Knoxville, TN
Job Purpose

To plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in the facility, ensuring high-quality resident care in compliance with applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations, as directed by the Administrator.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Conduct resident screenings to determine appropriate interventions within scope of practice.
  2. Implement treatment plans, following established goals and methods, under supervision.
  3. Communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families, and team members.
  4. Establish therapy schedules in collaboration with team members.
  5. Perform therapy sessions, document, and bill services accordingly.
  6. Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure effective patient treatment.
  7. Maintain compliance with CMS documentation standards daily.
Qualifications
  • Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Active OTA licensure in practicing state(s)
  • Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure and certification
