Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility in North Platte, NE. Full-time, Part-time or PRN positions available with a $5,000 sign-on or relocation bonus and flexible scheduling.

You will plan, organize, develop and direct OT services in the facility, follow the plan of care, document and bill accordingly, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screening of residents to determine the best intervention or treatment for each patient.
• Perform treatment plans and monitor progress according to the plan of care.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings and recommendations to residents and care teams.
• Establish therapy schedules with team members.
• Document and bill occupational therapy services following the treatment plan.

Job Position:

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Type:

Full Time ($5,000 Sign-On or Relocation Bonus!), Part Time, or PRN positions available. Flexible scheduling!

Job Purpose:

To plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be directed by Administrator, to ensure that highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times.

Job Functions:

• Conduct regular screening of residents to figure out the best intervention or treatment for each individual patient based off scope of practice
• Perform treatment plan to residents; follow short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve goals based off of the established plan of care by supervising therapist
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services
• Perform all other duties as assigned and as required to effectively treat patients
• Comply with all CMS documentation standards of practice daily with point of care documentations as indicated

Education & Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy
• MUST have active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification
