Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in the United States seeks a qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our growing team. Working under an Occupational Therapist, you will help treat patients by following individualized plans of care.

You will assist with all phases of OT treatment, develop and implement treatment programs with OT guidance, discuss progress with patients, document responses in charts, and coordinate with the OT, Rehab Director, and facility staff.

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
