As an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) you will assist the Occupational Therapists to help patients regain functional independence. Attention to detail, individualized care, and participation in a team approach are part of every interaction.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments as directed by the Occupational Therapist, and document treatments in the medical record.
• Supervise the direct patient care activities of the Rehab Aids
• Coordinate patient care with members of other departments and staff within the Rehab Services Department.
• Participates in resident care conferences, Restorative Team meetings, and Interdisciplinary Team meetings as appropriate.
• Participates in in-service training programs for other staff in the facility.
