Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:

  • Associate in Applied Science Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Two (2) years of COTA experience
  • Certified by NBCOT or eligible to apply and obtain licensure within one month
  • Licensed by the Arkansas State Medical Board as an Occupational Therapist Assistant

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Strong background in neurologic disorder treatment
  • Compassionate care for geriatric patients

  • Knowledge of Arkansas State Board regulations
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred qualifications:

  • Four (4) years of COTA experience

  • Current NBCOT certification
  • Current Arkansas license
  • LSVT BIG certification

Additional Information:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments and treatments in fine motor skills, sensory processing, and related areas under supervision. Collaborate with team members, monitor progress, document services, and perform VA Home treatments. Other duties as assigned.
