Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team! As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists and other Assistants to provide therapy and support for our patients. Your responsibilities include following care plans, assisting patients with adaptive devices, and maintaining therapy spaces and equipment. The ideal candidate has strong time management skills, excellent customer service skills, and knowledge of occupational therapy guidelines.

Responsibilities

1. Read, understand, and follow all care plans and therapy instructions for patients under your care.
2. Assist patients with adaptive equipment, exercises, and basic life skills.
3. Support Occupational Therapists with exercises, communication, and care coordination.
4. Assemble, clean, and maintain therapy equipment and materials.
5. Participate in patient care planning meetings and provide input.
6. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and changes.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure for occupational therapy assistance required.
• Previous experience in an occupational therapy setting preferred.
