Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team! As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists and other Assistants to provide therapy and support for our patients. Your responsibilities include following established care plans, assisting patients with adaptive devices, and maintaining therapy spaces and equipment. The ideal candidate possesses strong time management skills, excellent customer service skills, and knowledge of occupational therapy guidelines.

Responsibilities

1. Read, understand, and follow all care plans and therapy instructions for patients under your care.
2. Assist patients with adaptive equipment, modified exercises, and basic life skills.
3. Support Occupational Therapists with exercises, communication, and care coordination as needed.
4. Assemble, clean, and maintain therapy equipment and materials daily.
5. Participate in care planning meetings, provide input, and review patient care plans.
6. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and changes.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant is required.
• Previous experience in an occupational therapy setting is preferred.
