MedQuest Health Services, Inc. in Torrance, CA is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant to work closely with licensed therapists to deliver patient-centered care.

You will follow established plans of care, assist with adaptive equipment, and maintain therapy spaces and equipment. The ideal candidate has strong time management, excellent customer service skills, and knowledge of occupational therapy guidelines and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Current state licensing for occupational therapy assistant required.
• Experience in an occupational therapy setting preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong time management and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to work with plans of care and maintain documentation.

Responsabilités

• Read, understand, and follow all plans of care for patients under your supervision.
• Assist patients with using adaptive equipment, modified exercises, and learning basic life skills.
• Assist Occupational Therapists with exercises, communication, and care coordination as needed.
• Assemble, clean, and maintain equipment and materials used daily.
• Attend care plan meetings, provide input, and review patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and changes.
