Job summary

MedQuest Health Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. You will work closely with Occupational Therapists to provide therapy, support patients, and follow care plans. You will assist patients with adaptive devices, and maintain therapy spaces and equipment.

Qualifications

• Current state OT license required.
• Experience in OT setting preferred.
• Strong customer service and a positive attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to make decisions in high-stress environments.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow all plans of care for patients.
• Assist patients with adaptive equipment, modified exercises, and life skills.
• Support OTs with exercises, communication and care coordination.
• Assemble, clean and maintain therapy equipment and materials.
• Attend care plan meetings and provide input on patient plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress.
