Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited two‑year occupational therapy assistant program.
• Licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the State of Georgia.
• BCLS certification.
• Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and document patient treatment per plan of care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Provide formal and informal teaching to patients and their family members.
• Notify therapists of changes in patient status and document changes in the medical record.
• Complete progress notes accurately and legibly and submit them timely.
