Job summary

600 North Brush OPCO LLC is seeking an Occupational Therapist to plan, organize, develop, and direct Occupational Therapy Services in our facility, ensuring high-quality resident care in line with federal, state, and local standards.

Responsibilities include screening residents, executing treatment plans, coordinating with families and the interdisciplinary team, and maintaining documentation and billing compliant with CMS standards.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screening of residents to determine the best intervention or treatment for each patient based on scope of practice
• Perform treatment plans for residents; follow short and long-term goals and methods to achieve goals based on the established plan of care by supervising therapist
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Establish individual resident therapy schedules in cooperation with other team members
• Conduct therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services
• Perform all other duties as assigned to effectively treat patients
• Comply with CMS documentation standards with daily point-of-care documentation
