Job summary

Blue Stone Therapy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time position in a Skilled Nursing Facility / Long-Term Care setting in Iowa.

The role involves delivering occupational therapy under OT supervision, implementing personalized care plans, and collaborating with the care team to drive functional outcomes. AOTA-accredited OTA training and NBCOT/COTA licensure requirements apply, with state licensure current and strong communication skills essential.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an AOTA-accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• NBCOT certification as a COTA if required by the state.
• Current license to practice as a COTA in the state of practice.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an OT.
• Assist in implementing personalized care plans focused on functional goals.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure quality outcomes.
• Maintain documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
