Qualifications

• Licensed in the state(s) where services are being provided as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients according to the treatment plan developed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Communicate progress and problems regarding patients to the Occupational Therapist and team.
• Participate in patient Plan of Care Meetings and Interdisciplinary Team Meetings.
• Record treatment and progress notes, completing billing of services.
• Instruct patient's families and nursing staff on maintenance programs.
