Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

TMC is a therapy provider that brings physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to long term care providers. Location: Wapakoneta Manor
Compensation: $25.50 - $32.70 / hour

Key Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of an occupational therapist, assist in executing therapeutic plans, teaching patients adaptive equipment use, guiding exercises, and engaging in recovery activities.
• Contribute to planning and selecting therapeutic activities tailored to individual patient needs, applying creative approaches to meet therapeutic goals.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, observing performance changes, reporting observations to the occupational therapist, and adjusting interventions for continuous improvement.
• Educate patients and families about therapy process, adaptive equipment use, and home modifications, providing clear instructions and support for home practice.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Degree in an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Current license/certification in the state of practice
