The Lakes Home Care is seeking an Occupational Therapist Assistant to support patients in outpatient and home health settings, helping them improve daily living and working skills.

The ideal candidate will conduct assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and guide patients and families on therapeutic activities and adaptive equipment, coordinating with other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Outpatient experience required.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology essential.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Expertise in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Strong patient-care skills.
• Experience in occupational health settings.
• Experience in clinic and home health environments.
• Exposure to acute care settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments to determine individual needs and goals
• Develop personalized treatment plans to improve patients' abilities to perform daily activities
• Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to enhance patients' motor skills and coordination
• Educate patients and their families on adaptive techniques and equipment
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
