Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified occupational therapy assistant candidates to join our dynamic team in Palatine, Illinois. As an OTA, you will work under the guidance of an occupational therapist and help implement individualized plans of care developed by therapists.

You will assist patients through all phases of occupational therapy, document responses to treatments, and communicate with therapists, directors, and facility staff to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualified occupational therapy assistant candidates.
• Work under the guidance of an occupational therapist.
• Assist patients following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
