Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screening of residents to determine best intervention or treatment.
• Develop and follow treatment plans aligned with goals set by supervising therapist.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings, treatment plans, and recommendations to residents, families, and interdisciplinary team.
• Establish individualized therapy schedules with other team members.
• Perform therapy according to established treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing of occupational therapy services.
• Comply with CMS documentation standards and daily point-of-care documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
• Maintain licensure and participate in continuing education.
