Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is actively seeking a per diem Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility in New York. The role includes assisting with daily activities, following the plan of care set by the supervising OT, and collaborating with the OT to establish a comprehensive rehabilitation plan.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OTA Program
• Current New York State OTA License

Responsibilities

• Select therapy activities that follow the plan of care set by the supervising Occupational Therapist

• Teach residents how to use special equipment to assist with daily function
