Job summary

Sigma Health Rehab is seeking a per diem Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility at Bishop Center for Rehabiliation and Nursing in Syracuse, NY. • Assist residents in carrying out daily activities.
• Monitor residents' performance in therapy activities, provide encouragement and document on residents as needed.
• Teach residents how to use special equipment to assist with daily function.
• Collaborate with the OT to establish a rehabilitation plan.
• Maintain a cooperative relationship among healthcare team members and contribute to team effort.
