Job summary

PAM Health Wiregrass Ranch is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to join our brand-new rehabilitation hospital on a PRN basis in Florida. The OTA will work under the Occupational Therapist to deliver direct patient care to a diverse inpatient population and support the care team with individualized therapy plans.

Ideal candidates have prior inpatient hospital exposure or a strong willingness to learn, with a current BLS certification and OTA licensure in the state.

Qualifications

• Licensed as OTA in the state where the hospital resides.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and implement treatment programs under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Adapt activities to patient needs and participate in interdisciplinary care planning.

Responsibilities

The Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA), under the direction of the Occupational Therapist, is responsible for direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy in the PAM Health system. The Occupational Therapy Assistant/Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant must be flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

• Education and Training: Licensed as OTA in the state where the hospital or clinic resides. Current BLS certification required.
• Experience: One year of clinical experience preferred.
