Job summary

Broad River Rehab in Hickory, NC is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) for a part-time role with 20–25 hours per week. New graduates are welcome to apply and will join an interdisciplinary team focused on improving residents' functional abilities.

The OT assistant will provide therapy under orders, utilizing varied procedures and assistive devices to maximize outcomes for residents. A supportive mentorship program is also offered.

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) credential held or eligible.
• Part-time schedule: 20–25 hours per week.

The Occupational Therapy Assistant treats residents, under orders from a physician/OT, through the use of a variety of therapeutic procedures and assistive devices intended to maximize functional potentials in all areas of a resident's life. The Occupational Therapist participates as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing support and information within the area of Occupational Therapy.
