Job summary

The Anderson Hospital seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) for a PRN, 8-hour shifts in Maryville, IL. You will support the plan of care established by the registered occupational therapist and help patients progress toward rehabilitation goals.

Requirements include graduation from an OTA program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association, current Illinois licensure, at least one year of healthcare experience, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Summary: The occupational therapy assistant is responsible for the patients assigned to her/him. The occupational therapy assistant is responsible for following the plan of care established by the registered occupational therapist.

Job Responsibilities

The occupational therapy assistant is responsible for providing the safe and effective delivery of patient care through assessment and implementation of patient and family needs within the parameters of the Illinois Occupational Therapy Practice Act in order to deliver care promoting optimal recovery and rehabilitation. The occupational therapy assistant promotes safe and effective care to the adult and geriatric age groups.

QualificationsEducation Requirements and Other Requirements:
