Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Monroe, PA

Soliant Education is excited to offer a full-time position for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Monroe, PA. This contracted role is designed for the entire school year and provides an excellent opportunity to support students' functional and educational needs within an elementary or secondary school setting. As a COTA, you will work closely with occupational therapists and educators to help students achieve their therapeutic goals and succeed in their academic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement individualized occupational therapy plans as outlined by the supervising occupational therapist.
  • Conduct assessments and provide direct therapy services to students as specified in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Assist in developing and adapting educational materials and classroom environments to support students' needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure effective communication and coordinated care.
  • Document and track student progress, adjusting therapy techniques as needed to meet goals.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of student IEPs and other planning sessions.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with school and therapy documentation requirements.
Qualifications

  • Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with current licensure.
  • Associates degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting or a related field.
  • Experience working with students in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, student-centered therapy services.
Compensation

  • Competitive hourly rate, based on experience.
