Job summary

Compassus, in partnership with OhioHealth at Home, seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for Home Health PRN. You will support OTs in delivering patient-centered care using AI-supported documentation tools to allow more time for direct patient interaction.

You will assist sessions, monitor progress, and help reduce administrative workload, enabling flexible scheduling and balancing work-life needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy assistant with an Associate Degree.
• Two years of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.
• Active OTA license in state of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with therapy sessions and monitor patient progress.
• Use AI technology to ensure clear and accurate documentation of sessions.

Position Summary

Support OTs in delivering exceptional patient care by focusing on therapy goals and patient progress. Use AI-supported tools to assist in documentation, allowing more time for quality patient interaction.

Education and/or Experience

• Graduate of an accredited school of occupational therapy assistant with an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Two (2) years of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in an acute care or rehabilitation setting.

Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations

• Active and unencumbered Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of employment required.
• Required within 30 days of hire - National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
