All Care Therapies is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in a home health setting in the Greater Las Vegas area. We serve pediatric patients with various disorders and conditions, striving to address the evolving challenges in therapy care.

COTA Responsibilities:
- Treat pediatric patients using therapeutic and self-care activities to improve function under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist (OTR).
- Monitor patients' activities to ensure proper performance and provide encouragement.
- Participate in meetings and case conferences for coordinated care planning.
- Document patient progress in the company’s EMR system weekly.
- Instruct patients, families, and caregivers in skills and techniques of the treatment plan under OT supervision.
- Demonstrate exercises to improve daily task performance and pain relief.
- Complete clinical notes timely using the EMR system.
- Verify client information through interviews and review of medical history.
- Follow treatment plans, teaching techniques for safe movement and stretching.
- Monitor activities, provide encouragement, and alert the therapist if the treatment isn’t effective.
- Maintain pediatric occupational therapy records, recording progress for OT review.
- Record billing information for services rendered to generate revenue.
- Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and regulations.
- Adhere to professional standards, policies, and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
- Current NV Occupational Therapy Assistant license (required)
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- At least one year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (required)
- Pediatric experience (preferred)
- Current CPR certification
- Willingness to participate in continuing education
- Compassionate, caring demeanor
- Valid State driver’s license and auto insurance
- Excellent communication skills
- Good time management skills
