National HealthCare Corporation (NHC) HealthCare Anniston is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehab team. This in-house therapy group emphasizes quality care, teamwork, and a supportive work environment with opportunities for growth and competitive compensation.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an AOTA-accredited program, holds or is eligible for Alabama COTA licensure, and brings a positive attitude and team spirit.

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an AOTA accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program and licensed or eligible for certification by the Alabama Board of Occupational Therapy.
• Must hold Alabama COTA license in good standing.
• Team player with positive attitude and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under supervision within the rehab team.
• Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients.
• Document progress notes and communicate patient progress to the team.
• Collaborate with therapists and other rehab staff to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Must be a graduate of an AOTA accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program and initially certified or eligible for certification by the NCBOT
• Must have Alabama COTA ( Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant ) license
• Must have a positive attitude, and be a team player
• Prior SNF experience a plus
