As a Remote Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will deliver occupational therapy services remotely. You will work with licensed Occupational Therapists to assess, plan, and monitor treatment, guiding clients through virtual platforms. Your goal is to help clients achieve their therapy objectives and enhance their functional abilities remotely.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing remote occupational therapy interventions, exercises, and activities to help clients meet their goals.
• Educating patients and caregivers on strategies to improve independence and well-being.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, including progress notes and documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards, including HIPAA.
• Using telehealth platforms effectively for therapy sessions.
• Staying updated with the latest in occupational therapy through ongoing education.

Compensation

W2 | $27.00 - $46.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and bilingualism.

• Valid CA State Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License
• Experience in clinics, private practices, hospitals, or home health
• Proficiency with teletherapy platforms
• Comfort working with pediatrics (18 months+)
• Experience with feeding, sensory, hand therapy, emotional regulation, and neurodiverse clients preferred
