Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation in Savannah, TN is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to implement therapy programs, follow recovery plans, and deliver treatments in in-facility settings. You will work under the Director of Rehab, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to help patients regain independence.

The role emphasizes compassionate, patient-centered care, with opportunities for mentorship and ongoing professional development within a growth-focused organization.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program per AOTA/ACOTE standards.
• Initial NBCOT certification.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities.
• Follow developed recovery plans and deliver therapy treatments.
• Collaborate with the care team to restore independence and functional abilities.
• Provide patient-centered care in a compassionate atmosphere.

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.

You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.

You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. You know your goal is to execute a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence.

You're adaptable to the needs of the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.

You're a teammate and are looking for collaboration with your peers, but you're also happy to make referrals to help your patient get the care they need to thrive.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
