Job summary

Powerback Rehabilitation seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to implement OT programs in facility settings and support patient recovery plans. You will deliver therapy treatments, monitor progress, and collaborate with the rehab team to achieve patient goals.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited OTA program, holds NBOT certification, and is licensed or eligible for licensure in the practicing state.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in implementing occupational therapy programs and recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments and track progress for individual patients.
• Collaborate with rehab team to adjust plans and meet patient goals.

Responsibilities

Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant. Location/work environment: In facility. Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab.

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.

You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. You know your goal is to execute a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence.

You're adaptable to the needs of the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.
