Responsibilities

• Available Weekdays and/or Weekends.
• Works under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
• Performs patient related activities as assigned.
• Documents observations of patient’s behavior and progress.
• Completes and maintains timely documentation.
• Maintains statistical records and departmental reports as requested.
• Meets with the supervising occupational therapist regularly.
• Provides quality, personalized and evidence-based care.
• Performs all duties according to safety rules and practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Performs patient related activities as are assigned by the supervising occupational therapist.
• Documents observations of patient’s behavior and progress in the daily notes, progress notes, recertifications, and discharge notes.
• Completes and maintains timely documentation.
• Maintains statistical records and other departmental reports as requested by occupational therapist.
• Meets with the supervising occupational therapist regularly to review the implementation of treatment plans and to foster professional development.
• Provides quality, personalized and evidence-based care, and proven interventions.
• Performs all position duties according to safety rules and practices required for this position, and as required to ensure the general safety of staff, residents and visitors of this facility.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor, management staff or Administrator.
