Legacy Healthcare is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our Skilled Nursing team. The COTA will support the Occupational Therapist in creating and delivering tailored therapy plans, ensuring residents can perform daily tasks safely with high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from accredited OTA program.
• Unencumbered State of Iowa COTA certificate.
• One year of OTA experience preferred.

As a COTA you are the front line of the Therapy Department. Your work will ensure our residents receive the high standard of care they have grown to expect atLegacy Healthcareby assisting the Occupational Therapist with the design, implementation, and delivery of customized occupational therapy programs to assist residents independently carry out everyday tasks. Our residents will depend on your knowledge, skills, and attention to detail to ensure they are comfortable and safe.

To be eligible for consideration applicants should have:

As a minimum, an associate degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program and an unencumbered State ofIowaCOTA certificate. One (1) year of experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant is preferable but we are willing to invest in the right candidate!
