Job summary

Therapy Solutions Collective (TSCO) is seeking a dedicated School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support students in Marble Falls, TX for the 2026–2027 school year. You will work under a licensed OT to implement IEP goals and deliver direct and consultative OT services in diverse school settings.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in an accredited COTA program (required).
• Active COTA license in the service state.
• Knowledge of school-based OT practices, IEPs and special education services.
• Collaboration and communication with OTs, educators and families.
• Pediatric or school-based setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of IEP goals under supervision of a licensed OT.
• Provide direct and consultative OT services to students in school settings.
• Assist students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, visual motor and self-care skills for school participation.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapy strategies in the classroom.
• Collect data and document progress toward IEP goals; report to the supervising OT.
• Prepare and organize materials aligned with therapeutic goals and student needs.
• Participate in team and IEP meetings to share observations and progress.
• Promote independence and functional participation in the educational environment.
• Maintain records and ensure services meet district, state and federal regulations.
• Adapt activities and environments to meet individual student needs.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support the implementation of Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in a variety of school settings.
• Assist students in developing fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual motor integration, and self‑care skills needed for school participation.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom environment.
• Collect data and document student progress toward IEP goals, reporting regularly to the supervising OT.
• Prepare and organize materials and activities that align with therapeutic goals and student needs.
• Participate in team meetings, including IEP meetings, when appropriate, to share observations and progress.
• Promote independence and functional participation in the educational environment.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure services are delivered in accordance with district, state, and federal regulations.
• Adapt activities and environments to meet the unique needs of individual students.

What We’re Looking For

• Associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state where services will be provided.
• Knowledge of school‑based OT practices, IEPs, and special education services.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with OTs, educators, families, and other team members.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and adapt activities based on student response and progress.
• Pediatric or school‑based setting experience preferred.
