Job summary

Therapy Solutions Collective (TSCO) is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist for the 2026–2027 year in Mount Vernon, WA. This full-time, onsite role involves 32 hours across four days with school-based settings.

You will conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct OT services aligned with IEP goals, collaborating with teachers and families to support student progress.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice as an OT.
• NBCOT certification.
• Experience with school-aged children or educational settings preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and daily living skill needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students' access and success in school.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students individually or in small groups, aligned with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support classroom modifications and interventions.
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to goal development and documentation of student progress.
• Educate and support staff and families on strategies for generalization of interventions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress, and treatment sessions.

What You’ll Be Doing*

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor, and daily living skill needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students' ability to access and succeed in their educational environments.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students individually or in small groups, aligned with their IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support classroom modifications, accommodations, and interventions.
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to goal development and documentation of student progress.
• Educate and support staff and families on strategies for generalization and carryover of therapeutic interventions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress reports, treatment sessions, and communications.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices, tools, and techniques in school-based OT.

What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state where services will be provided.
• National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.
• Experience working with school-aged children or in educational settings preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt interventions to meet students’ individual needs in dynamic school environments.
• Someone who values collaboration and student-centered services.
