Job summary

Powerback seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to help patients regain independence through customized OT programs across home, clinic, and school settings. You will implement planned therapies, monitor progress, and collaborate with therapists and families to maximize outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold OTA education, NBCOT certification, and state licensure or eligibility, with a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program (AOTA/ACOTE)
  • Initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
  • Licensed and/or eligible for licensure in the state of practice

Responsibilities

  • Deliver occupational therapy services per individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement OT programs and activities to restore function and independence.
  • Collaborate with therapists, patients, and families to optimize care and outcomes.
  • Maintain patient-centered care and ensure safety and compassion in every session.

Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.

You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.

You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. You know your goal is to execute a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence.

You're adaptable to the needs of the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.

Qualifications
  1. Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.

Salary

USD $29.00 - $38.00 /Hr.
