Job summary

Powerback Rehab in New Mexico is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team at Belen Meadows HC and Rehab. The role involves implementing OT programs, following recovery plans, and delivering therapy to improve patient independence.

As part of a supportive, patient‑centered environment, you’ll collaborate with the Director of Rehab and other clinicians. We offer referral bonuses and a streamlined hiring process to welcome you quickly.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program per AOTA/ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) or eligibility.
• Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities per recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments and monitor patient progress.
• Collaborate with team to restore independence and function.
• Support patients and families with compassionate care.
• Coordinate referrals to ensure continuous care when needed.

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.

You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. You know your goal is the design of a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence.

Posted Salary Range

USD $38.00 - USD $40.00 /Hr.
