Job summary

Canyon Transitional Rehab in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to help patients get well by delivering OT services and implementing treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

Qualified graduates with ACOTE-accredited programs and NBCOT certification are encouraged to apply; licensure or eligibility in the state is required. We offer a supportive rehab team, opportunities for growth, and a $5,000 bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and deliver treatments to help patients recover.
• Follow developed recovery plans and help restore, reinforce and enhance physical abilities.
• Collaborate with care teams to design patient-centered plans and coordinate care.
• Ensure compassionate, patient-focused service to patients and families.
