Job summary

Saber Health Group is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to assist residents at a skilled nursing facility in Hendersonville, NC. The OA will help return patients to their optimal function under OT and DOR supervision.

The role emphasizes educating patients for independent post-discharge exercise programs, using EHRs, and contributing to a supportive, patient-centered care team.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college.
• Must hold a current and valid license (state of employment).
• Current OTA license from the state of employment.
• Must possess basic computer skills and navigate EHR and service delivery software.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The primary function of your job return patient to optimal physical function and facilitate the achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals within a SNF setting. Instruct the patient in maintaining achieved level of function after discharge through education, independent exercise program, and appropriate activity modification, under the supervision of the OT and DOR.

Education/Qualifications:

• Employee must hold an Associate’s Degree from an accredited college.

• Must hold a current and valid license granted from the state of employment.

• Current and valid OTA license granted from state of employment.

• Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate through various software programs, including service delivery software and the electronic health record software.
