Job summary

Powerback Rehab in Albuquerque is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our inpatient rehabilitation team. You will implement therapy programs, follow recovery plans, and help patients regain independence with compassionate care.

The role requires graduation from an ACOTE/AOTA‑accredited program, NBOT certification, and state licensure or eligibility. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants, with in-facility work environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACOTE/AOTA‑accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities.

• Collaborate with the rehab team to restore independence and function.
• Provide patient‑centered care in an in‑facility setting.

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Posted Salary Range

USD $34.00 - USD $38.00 /Hr.
