Job summary

PruittHealth in Blue Ridge, GA is seeking a Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support our Therapy Services team. You will implement and support OT treatment plans for patients under supervision, in a compassionate, patient-centered setting.

We offer competitive compensation up to $100,000 annually, based on experience, schedule, and location, plus a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for full-time hires.

Qualifications

• Valid professional license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of ACOTE-accredited program.
• NBCOT exam passed or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing the OT care plan as prescribed by the therapist and physician.
• Perform clinical tasks and document them timely and accurately.
• Follow policies and procedures related to scope of practice.
• Recognize priorities in patient care and respond accordingly.
• Complete orientation, in-services and trainings successfully.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of the occupational therapy care plan and treatment to patients as prescribed by the evaluating therapist and physician according to the State Practice Acts
• Perform clinical tasks, and communicate and document tasks in a timely and accurate manner
• Follow established policies and procedures as related to the scope of practice
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care
• Complete all required orientation, in-services, and trainings successfully
• Perform other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor

Qualifications

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Valid professional license in the state of practice
• Graduate of ACOTE accredited school and eligible to take or has passed the NBCOT exam. If foreign-trained, must meet the same qualifications as U.S. educational program requirements
