Athletico is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide treatment under supervision in our outpatient clinics across the United States. The role supports pediatric through geriatric patients and contributes to personalized care plans under the direction of an OT.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program with an Associate’s degree.
• Experience in hand therapy or outpatient upper-extremity setting preferred.
• Licensed or eligible to practice as an OTA in the state of hire.
• Current CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation to access clinics in assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to state OT Practice Act, code of ethics, and organizational policies.
• Assists therapists in assessment of patients across age groups.
• Implements treatment programs developed by the OT.
• Modifies treatment per supervising OT and plan of care.
• Maintains accurate electronic medical records of OT services.
• Provides home program instructions to patient/family.
• Communicates patient status to OT or physician; participates in staffings.
• Completes charge and statistical information reflecting services.
