Aventura at Walton Hills is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for full-time and PRN positions on its in-house therapy team. You will work under licensed OT supervision to help residents improve independence, daily living skills, and mobility.

Qualifications

• Active Ohio COTA license.
• LTC/SNF or geriatric experience preferred, but not required.

• Implement treatment plans under the supervising OT.
• Educate residents and families on therapy goals and techniques.

What You'll Do

As a COTA, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide skilled therapy services that help residents improve their independence, daily living skills, mobility, function, and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing individualized therapeutic interventions
• Implementing treatment plans under the direction of the supervising OT
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living and functional activities
• Monitoring and reporting resident progress and response to treatment
• Educating residents, families, and caregivers on therapy goals and techniques
• Completing timely and accurate documentation
• Communicating resident progress and concerns to the supervising OT
• Collaborating with nursing and the interdisciplinary care team
• Providing compassionate, resident-centered care

We're Looking For

• Active Ohio COTA license
• License in good standing with applicable licensing boards and regulatory agencies
• LTC/SNF or geriatric experience preferred, but not required
• Net Health experience is a plus
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Passion for helping residents reach their highest level of independence
