Wood Aven Health & Rehabilitation in Wausau, WI is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab program. This role supports geriatric patients across post-acute and long-term care, under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

You will provide skilled interventions, monitor progress, and adjust treatments to regulatory and clinical standards, contributing to high-quality patient outcomes and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices under OT supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT - FULL TIME - WOOD AVEN HEALTH & REHABILITATION - WAUSAU, WI

Wood Aven Health & Rehabilitation in Wausau is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a full time Occupational Therapy Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities
