Job summary

Savannah Nursing & Rehabilitation in Savannah, TN, is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehab program. You will provide skilled, therapeutic interventions under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and contribute to a patient-centered recovery plan.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited OTA program and an active state license/registration. We welcome all levels of experience and offer a flexible PRN schedule to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Must hold current and active State license/registration where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary interventions to patients under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including ADL retraining, activities, exercises, modalities, and use of assistive devices under supervision.
• Assess patient progress and coordinate with the supervising OT to adjust treatments in line with standards.
• Report treatment outcomes and effectiveness to the supervising OT.

Savannah Nursing & Rehabilitation in Savannah, TN, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a PRN OccupationalTherapy Assistant for our in-house rehab program!

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes’ effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
