As an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Award Care at Sarasota, you will work collaboratively with our occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to design and implement individualized treatment plans that promote independence, safety, and well-being for our residents. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Assisting occupational therapists with patient evaluations, assessments, and treatment plans
Implementing and modifying treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care and progress
Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care and share best practices
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment that promotes resident comfort and dignity
