Job summary

McKinney Health & Rehabilitation in McKinney, TX, is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. You will provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments under Occupational Therapist supervision to support cognitive and physical function in our geriatric post-acute and long-term care populations.

Candidates must graduate from an accredited OTA program and hold an active state license/registration where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Holds a current and active state license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and assistive devices under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

McKinney Health & Rehabilitation in McKinney, TX, is currently seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistantto join our in-house therapy team. We are a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric outpatient services provided.

Duties:

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
