Job summary

MedQuest Health Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. You will work closely with Occupational Therapists to provide therapy and support for patients, following plans of care and assisting with adaptive devices and space maintenance.

The ideal candidate has strong time management and customer service skills, solid knowledge of occupational therapy guidelines, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current state licensing for occupational therapy assistant required.
• Experience in an occupational therapy setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow plans of care for patients under your supervision.
• Assist patients with adaptive equipment and modified exercises.
• Support Occupational Therapists with therapy activities and care coordination.
• Assemble, clean, and maintain equipment and materials daily.
• Attend care plan meetings and provide input on patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and follow all plans of care and therapy laid out for patients under your care
• Assist patients with using adaptive equipment, modified exercises, and learning basic life skills
• Assist Occupational Therapists with exercises, communication, and care coordination as needed
• Assemble, clean, and maintain equipment and materials used on a daily basis
• Attend care plans for patients, provide input, and go over patient care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and changes

Qualifications
