Pacific Care and Rehabilitation in Hoquiam, WA seeks a full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team, providing rehabilitative care under an Occupational Therapist.

As part of a post-acute facility offering long-term and geriatric services, you will administer ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and other modalities, with opportunities for growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Hold a current and active State license/registration where applicable.
• Candidates with all levels of experience are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.

Pacific Care and Rehabilitation is a post-acute care facility with long‑term care, short‑term care, and geriatric services. We are seeking a Full Time Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our in‑house therapy team.

Pacific Care and Rehabilitation is located in Hoquiam, WA, a beautiful Olympic Peninsula location on the Pacific Coast of Washington State. We have a 3,000 square foot rehab facility with an amazing gym, new therapy equipment, excellent ADL space, therapist offices, and room to grow!

Duties:

• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with cognitive and/or physical functioning disorders, following regulatory and clinical standards under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Administer various rehabilitation procedures, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, exercises, modalities, and the use of supportive and assistive devices, under Occupational Therapist supervision.
• Assess patient progress and communicate with the supervising Occupational Therapist to adjust treatments in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Report treatment outcomes' effectiveness to the supervising Occupational Therapist.
